The Rangers host the Yankees in what's turned into a massive series for both teams' American League playoff hopes. New York has scuffled mightily of late, and after losing the first two games of this series, the Yankees have now lost five in a row. The Rangers, meanwhile, have been one of baseball's better teams since the start of July. Both teams sit in third place in their respective divisions, and the Yankees have a slim half-game lead over the Rangers for the third and final AL Wild Card spot. There's just one WNBA contest on Wednesday when the Aces face off with the Valkyries. These teams faced off on Sunday, and the Aces won in runaway fashion by a final score of 101-77.
