Credit Genoa for realizing that its season was headed straight into the Ligurian Sea in autumn and cutting the cord with manager Patrick Vieira after a winless stretch of nine at the outset of the Serie A campaign. Just in time, it seems, as Daniele De Rossi has steadied the ship enough to likely prevent a drop to Serie B. Still, wins (three) are as rare for Genoa as a quiet month in Italian politics, and visiting Cagliari has been moving toward mid-table safety thanks in part to getting results in five of its last eight away. Genoa have done a fantastic job in recent weeks of matching their opponents. We saw both against Milan and Pisa that they are capable of tightening things up when needed, and pressing on the attack when the opposite is requested. A combination of Genoa's ability to always find a goal and Cagliari's leaky defense makes me think we have a draw in the works. The last three matches between the two have also, ended in draws, 1-1,2-2 and 3-3. Maybe we see 4-4 this time! Probably not, but I do lean on Genoa getting at least a point out of Cagliari.

Cagliari has been finding themselves in similar situations having not kept a cleansheet in their last five matches. This is also a great game for head-to-head fans as over 2.5 goals has hit in 4/5 and BTTS has hit in 4/5. Frankly I believe this line should be 2.5 and not 1.5, so even with the juice I'm okay playing this!
