So my No. 1 memory of college in terms of sports was that the majority of friends then cared most not about the Wolverines, Spartans, Tigers, Pistons or Lions but the Red Wings. Every Detroit-Chicago matchup was a kegger -- not that we needed a reason. But seeing Bob Probert and Chris Chelios just maul each other was fun. Plus the NHL Sega video game then started getting mega-popular (Roenick unstoppable). Why saying this? I hate the Wings with every piece of me but the Stanley Cup playoffs are way better with them in it. And this is a must-have two points or it's over. The Devils are eliminated and shutting guys down. Oddly cheap number so I'll up the ante a bit.
