Half unit as the Wild are excellent, but this screams letdown game after a thoroughly impressive win in Denver last night. There are some tough B2B "swing" trips in the NHL: Florida Swing (Lightning, Panthers), Ontario Swing (Sens, Leafs) and Alberta Swing (Oilers, Flames), but the Altitude Swing (Avalanche, Mammoth) might be the toughest right now. And that's "Where the Wild Things Are" (life-changing book first time read as a pup), so to speak. Minnesota goalie Jesper Wallstedt, who will start, had to play a bit last night against the Avs when starter Filip Gustavsson became ill late in the third. Not a huge deal, but certainly not ideal. Utah got a few key guys back off IR on Wednesday so is fully healthy.
