Can't say I love fading Carolina, but it can still win and so can I. This is just a really solid price on Minnesota +1.5 at home considering it is starting the hottest goalie in the NHL in rookie Jesper Wallstedt. The Swede (Jesper seems to be Sweden's "John" basically) is 3-0 with a 0.67 GAA in three starts this month and is working on back-to-back shutouts. He's most surely not blanking the Canes, but the Wild have earned a point in 10 of their last 11 home games against the Hurricanes -- and all we care about is a point. It is also Carolina's least-effective netminder tonight in Frederik Andersen, he of the 3.09 season GAA and three losses in past four.
