I expect an extra-motivated Oilers team on Monday night after being embarrassed on home ice Saturday, 9-1 by Colorado. That tied the worst-ever defeat for Edmonton at home. It was the club's third loss in a row overall and a mega-tough and mega-long road trip is up next, so this feels like a spot the home team should play really well. But if the Oilers don't get good goaltending, and some nights they definitely don't, then it won't matter. At least the power play is working of late with five straight games of scoring with the man advantage. Columbus is perfectly mediocre and 0-3 on a current five-game trip.
