Was gonna take a bit of an NHL break with all the crazy results of late -- and in a few hours I might wish I had -- but two things caught my attention for this game. First is that I was not offered -1 earlier today but obviously now am; second is that Seattle is starting third stringer Matt Murray (3.24 GAA) in net because Joey Daccord is hurt and Philipp Grubauer started Saturday's overtime win in St. Louis -- OT and then travel obviously not ideal. Murray hasn't had a season with a GAA under 3.00 since 2019-20.
