Trusting the Blues is risky, considering their seven straight losses. Tonight could be a turnaround, however, as the visiting Oilers haven't been road warriors, dropping four of their last five away. Cal Pickard goes in goal tonight and has been decidedly unimpressive thus far in the new season despite his decent 2-2-1 record; his GAA is 3.50 and saves only at .846. St. Louis is right on the edge lately, into a shootout (which the Blues lost) vs. Vancouver in the last home game, and pushing Columbus right to the end in a 3-2 loss at Nationwide Arena on Saturday. The Blues are a mess and on a seven-game skid but like most teams play much better at home. They will be fired up to end that losing streak against Connor McDavid and the two-time West champs.
