A bit bumpy so far in Vegas, which needed to rally from 2-1 down on Tuesday at Calgary. New add Mitch Marner has yet to click with Jack Eichel, forcing Bruce Cassidy to put them on different lines. Every game has been a struggle thus far, which includes a pair of OT losses vs. the Kings and Kraken. Meanwhile, the Bruins have been a very pleasant surprise, winning three in a row out of the chute before a combative 4-3 loss to the Lightning, which was a good effort. David Pastrnak is averaging over a point per game, and the defense (plus Jeremy Swayman in goal, with .966 saves) has looked good, allowing just 2.25 goals per game. Play Bruins on Money Line

FanDuel special, my first this year. It might end up 4-3 after one period, but stats don't lie: Boston's Jeremy Swayman has a 1.00 GAA and .966 in two starts, and Vegas' Akira Schmid has a 1.80 GAA in his two starts. So, I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night but 1.00 + 1.88 = 2.88 and not 7. Sadly, sports doesn't quite work that way. If just one is totally on his game, we should be good with a 4-2 or the like.
