We usually don't look to go with the Ducks away from home, but by Anaheim standards the current (and long) road trip hasn't been too bad, with wins at Nashville and Florida in the previous five games. Besides, this is a chance (at a decent price) to once again go against the Sharks, on another long winless run (11 straight) and returning home from another long and empty road trip. In eight of those eleven losses, San Jose has scored two goals or fewer, and John Gibson turned away 25 of 26 shots in the earlier 4-1 Ducks win at Honda Center on November 12.
