Over their last ten games, the Predators have scored an average of 4.00 goals per game, so they should fare well against Anton Forsberg. The Preds are starting Juuse Saros who has struggled throughout the second half of the season, specifically on the road, where he has recorded a 3.43 GAA in his last 10 starts. These teams just played each other last week in Nashville and the Preds won 4-1, but tonight I expect the Senators to make a more significant contribution. Five of the last six Ottawa games, and eight of the last nine Nashville games have gone over six— I expect this one to do the same.

We will keep hammering our home puckline dogs, getting the Sens +1.5 Thursday at a reasonable price of -150. They did lose in Nashville 4-1 a little over a week ago, but Ottawa has won three in a row since and generally doesn't lose by more than one at home if it doesn't win outright -- at least in recent weeks. The Preds may be in letdown mode off Tuesday's home upset of Minnesota and also looking ahead to a home game against the high-flying Panthers on Saturday. Nashville has dropped its past three away.
