Braden Holtby will be facing Jordan Binnington and the Blues to kick off the NHL season. The Caps will be without Michal Kempny and Evgeny Kuznetsov and they will be facing the reigning Stanley Cup champions. However, the Caps are the better team and I would take the value with one of the best teams in the league at plus money any day.

The Capitals are winning more than half my simulations for the season opener in St. Louis, making them a strong play at this attractive price. The Blues won both meetings last season but my projections show a turnaround Wednesday night.
