In what has become an annual tradition, the Detroit Lions (0-9-1) will host the first game on the 2021 NFL Thanksgiving Day schedule. This year it will be the Chicago Bears (3-7) who are in town on Thanksgiving Day for a key Week 12 NFL game. Kickoff is at 12:30 p.m. ET. The Bears are favored by three points in the latest Lions vs Bears odds from Caesars Sportsbook, and the over-under is set at 41.5 points. In addition to the Bears vs Lions point spread and NFL Week 12 betting lines, Caesars is also offering a plethora of prop bet options for this Thanksgiving Day matchup between NFC North rivals, and SportsLine NFL expert R.J. White has just revealed his top plays.

White, a CBS Sports fantasy and gambling editor, ended the 2020 season on an 80-59 run on all NFL picks, returning more than $1,400 during that span. He also enters Week 12 as SportsLine's No. 5 rated NFL expert, going 55-44-2 (+800) on his last 101 NFL ATS picks. It's no surprise, as White has cashed huge twice in the world's most prestigious football handicapping competition, the Las Vegas SuperContest. Anyone who has followed his picks has seen HUGE returns.

    D'Andre Swift Over 67.5 rushing yards (-130)

"Since Dan Campbell took over play calling, Swift has rushed for 130-plus yards in back-to-back games. Now, part of that last week was breaking off one huge run, as he had just 14 carries. But the Lions offense ran only 48 plays in the game, well short of their average of 63 per game. If they revert to that average here, I expect Swift to get north of 20 carries against a Bears defense missing Akiem Hicks once again. He might be able to get to this number with just 14 or 15 carries considering how well he's run the last two weeks, but with the expected volume this one has a great chance of hitting."

Darnell Mooney Over 4.5 receptions (-135)

"Allen Robinson is doubtful to play in this game, and that means Mooney should expect a big workload. The Bears threw 34 passes last week, and nearly half of them went to their No. 1 receiver with Allen Robinson sidelined. Granted, he had just five receptions, but considering they came on 16 targets, his final receptions line felt like a worst-case scenario and he still managed 121 yards and a touchdown. Mooney should have better rapport with Andy Dalton in this game, and he figures to see at least eight targets for the fourth time in six games. In those past three games where he reached that target number, he had at least five receptions. His yardage numbers haven't been great during that stretch save for last week, so this is a safer play than taking him to top his yardage total."

Khalil Herbert Under 22.5 rushing yards (-110)

"Herbert burst onto the scene earlier this year with David Montgomery hurt, but with Montgomery healthy, Herbert doesn't appear to have a role in the offense. He went from 23 carries in Week 8 to just four in Week 9 and then only saw one carry last week in the team's first game out of the bye. On a short week, I don't know that the Bears plan to mix up their usage at the running back position, so I'd expect Montgomery to again see virtually all the work at running back. Herbert's best chance at topping this number if Montgomery stays healthy would be the Bears leading big in the second half, but there are more profitable ways to play that scenario, such as a heavy alt line at big plus odds."
