The Bills badly need this game after losing a tough one to New England last week, and Carolina is a perfect team for a bounce-back effort. The Panthers' quarterback situation is a mess with Cam Newton and P.J. Walker. I expect Buffalo to take its frustration out on Carolina and win in a big way.

The spread has drifted up in concert with Josh Allen’s clearance to play. The Panthers’ defense has been shaky lately but remains the top-ranked unit against the pass and is fourth in sacks. Allen’s ailing foot could make him susceptible to sacks behind a line that has given up more per drop-back than all but two teams. Carolina seems to up its game away from home, where coach Matt Rhule is 8-2 ATS as an underdog.
