Minnesota’s most indispensable offensive player, RB Dalvin Cook, is out for personal reasons. He is the league’s top rusher not named Derrick Henry, and filling his spacious shoes will be Alexander Mattison (only 339 rushing yards) and some barely used teammates. For the Lions, Matthew Stafford should be out. He is a wounded QB who insists on playing through injuries. Detroit should just say no, and likely will. Without Cook and probably Stafford, the game will be short on offensive firepower.
