No matter where 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan goes, optimism follows. What hasn't followed him is team success. In San Francisco, Shanahan is 10-22. On the other side, there is a lot of warranted optimism about what Bruce Arians can do for Jameis Winston and the Bucs. Look for a big day from Tampa Bay's receivers exploiting San Francisco's shaky secondary.

I expect this total to close in the 50s, so I'm getting in now. Tampa Bay has an intriguing offense with Bruce Arians calling the shots, but their defense should again surrender plenty of points, especially early on as they adjust to the new scheme. Kyle Shanahan has a long resume of good offenses and was able to be not terrible last year with Nick Mullens and C.J. Beathard making most of their starts. I can see something like 31-28 as the final score here, going way over this number.
