The Blazers did just win back-to-back vs. Memphis minus top scorer Deni Avdija and for good measure second-leading scorer Shaedon Sharpe in Saturday's win. Or, perhaps it suggests the Griz aren't very good right now. Whatever, Avdija (back) remains iffy as he has often been sidelined the past three weeks, and Sharpe (calf) is definitely out, so not sure Portland is sufficiently recovered from a recent six-game skid. In this '77 Finals rematch, Joel Embiid's name appears as usual on the Sixers injury list, but as he's been able to play and produce big (another 33 points in Saturday's win at Phoenix) for all but one game the past two weeks, we don't mind backing Philly, on a 6-1 SU run.
