Orlando remains a tough out, even shorthanded. Jamahl Mosley has been forced to work around numerous injuries, including top scorers Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, plus key rotation piece Mo Wagner, but the Magic has beaten the Heat and Celtics within the past week and was within 1 point of beating Miami again last night. Four different top scorers the last four games (Anthony Black, Cole Anthony, Tristan da Silva, and Jalen Suggs) speaks to the still available options. The Knicks took a 100-91 verdict two weeks ago on Sunday (Dec. 15) at Kia Center and have won five straight in their best stretch of the season, but are laying an extra three points from their last game at Orlando twelve nights ago. The Magic continue to play without Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. Them being sidelined has forced Tristan da Silva to log at least 32 minutes in four of the last five games. He scored at least 15 points in all four of those games. That included an outing against the Knicks in which he scored 20 points. Expect him to play a lot and get plenty of shot attempts again Friday.
