With the team struggling, the Kings have turned to Malik Monk to play more. He has logged at least 35 minutes in four straight games and even started the last two. With him playing more, he recorded at least 12 combined rebounds and assists in each game. The Grizzlies have played at the third-fastest pace in the league, making this over even more appealing for Monk.

We've seen the occasional good effort from Sacto such as the Tuesday win at Golden 1 Center vs. the Rockets, but those efforts have been effectively random in a somewhat disappointing 10-12 start to the season. Meanwhile, some real positives shining thru the past two weeks for Memphis, which had a six-game win streak (the last five of those by double-digit margins) ended narrowly at Dallas on Tuesday despite the best efforts of Ja Morant (31 points). Relatively healthy, the Griz are an impressive 11-3 their last 14 vs. the number, while 9-1 SU and 8-2 vs. the points their last ten at the Fed Ex Forum.
