His absence should create added opportunities for Julian Champagnie, who scored 21 points and played 38 minutes with Sochan leaving early against the Clippers on Monday. Champagnie scored 12 points in his first meeting with the Rockets this season, then just five points in their second. He shot 1-for-6 from three in that second game, which is rare considering he shot 36.5% from three last season. The Rockets have allowed the sixth-highest three-point shooting percentage in the league, setting up Champagnie to finish this game with at least 10 points.
