Anthony Edwards has taken a major step forward on both ends of the court in his third year on a Timberwolves team thats atop a loaded Western Conference. Edwards has improved tremendously and is likely headed to his first All-NBA selection. He will face a Blazers team on the back half of a B2B and I like his chances to carry the load offensively tonight.

We don't exactly love the second night of a back-to-back for the T-wolves after dismantling the Clippers in LA last night, but this isn't a bad way for Minnesota to hit the All-Star break, as they get a pair of games in Portland vs. the subpar Blazers tonight and Thursday. The NBA's best defense travels well and "unders" are once again recurring (7-3 the last ten) on the T-wolves side. Do not expect any explosions from Portland, either, not after scoring just 93 at Target Center in the first meeting on January 12 that landed well beneath (209) tonight's current 214.5.
