    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Matt's Analysis:

The Hawks have scored 100-or-more points in 69 straight regular season games, marking the longest active streak in the NBA. I guarantee you that will continue tonight with a total of 252.2, the highest I can ever remember -- and I still can't justify going Under. Mostly a home-court take and that the Hawks can play a little defense occasionally and the Pacers can't. Atlanta, which also has more size, is 6-1 in the past seven meetings. I have to say, though, we have come to the point where Tyrese Haliburton is clearly a better player than Trae Young. Indiana could be quite good in a year or two.

    Mike's Analysis:

A move into the starting lineup has provided a significant boost for Jalen Johnson, who is now averaging 31 minutes per game. That has helped him score at least 15 points in five of his last seven games. Both of these teams rank inside the top-three in the league in pace of play, while the Pacers have the fifth-worst defensive rating. Given his current role, look for Johnson to score at least 15 points again.

    Mike's Analysis:

Dejounte Murray is averaging 21.8 points per game and shooting 48.5 percent from the field this season. What’s great about him for player props is that he spends a lot of time on the floor. He averaged 36 minutes a game last season and is averaging 35 a game this season. Both of these teams rank inside the top-three in the league in pace of play, while the Pacers have the fifth-worst defensive rating. Expect Murray to have a big night in the scoring column.

    Alex's Analysis:

Jalen Johnson is an ascending third year player who has all the attributes of a potential All-Star. The Hawks moved on from John Collins in the offseason in order to give Johnson more minutes and the former Duke Blue Devil has delivered. Johnson is averaging 15 PPG on 60% shooting from the field and 44% from behind the arc. This looks like a terrific spot to back the talented forward getting to play in a game with a whopping 253 point total that should feature plenty of additional possessions.
