Sharpe is basically the last man standing in terms of quality scoring options for the Trail Blazers. That has helped him score at least 24 points in four of five games since moving into the starting lineup. When he faced the Kings on Wednesday, he scored 30 points on a whopping 27 shot attempts. The Kings rank inside the bottom-10 in the league in defensive rating, so with plenty of minutes and shot attempts coming his way, I like Sharpe to hit the over.

The Trail Blazers are in full tank mode, sitting most of their starters for the rest of the season. They have lost 10 of their last 11 games with seven of those losses coming by at least 15 points. That included a 40-point loss to these same Kings on Wednesday. It’s a bit unsettling to take a team to cover a spread this large, but I don’t see how the Trail Blazers have enough fire power to keep things remotely close.
