Injuries have taken a toll on the Mavericks and things are about to get worse with Christian Wood (thumb) out for at least a week. They do have Dorian Finney-Smith back, but they don’t have anyone up front who can come close to matching the 18.4 points per game that Wood is averaging. The Heat are finally healthy, with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro and Kyle Lowry all clear of the injury report. Their improved health has helped them win seven of their last 10 games, with four of those victories coming on the road. Wood being out is the difference-maker here.
