    Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Matt's Analysis:

The Clippers may well win their first NBA title this season but there's no way that Kawhi Leonard and John Wall will play major minutes tonight after missing all of last season. In fact, I'd hammer Clippers Under win total because those two and Paul George probably sit 15 games each -- LA doesn't care about the regular season. The Lakers played well for three of four quarters at the Warriors in the opener, and I think having a game under their belt is a bit of an advantage. Six points is just too many. If the Lakers do get routed tonight, I don't even want to be in the same hemisphere as Stephen A. Smith on Friday morning. It's going to be all ESPN talks about.
