It's the start of the annual Rodeo Road Trip for San Antonio. I usually wager against teams at the start of a long trip if they have been home for awhile (Spurs have been home since Jan. 27 except one quick jaunt to Houston) or at the end of one. Yes, the Spurs have been better on the road than at home this season and yes they have actually have largely been better this season with LaMarcus Aldridge is out as he is here. And, yes, Atlanta is just 6-7 SU & ATS home. Still, I think this spread is a few points too low. The Hawks have covered their past six as favorites. Trae Young, John Collins and Kevin Huerter are all rolling offensively of late. I don't believe the Spurs and their No. 22 offense can keep up. Atlanta won and covered both meetings last season for what that's worth.
