Obviously a risk in these COVID days to pick a game this early, but it sometimes can work in your favor. For example, I picked Houston at -2.5 over Portland late Wednesday for Thursday's game, and by the time it tipped off the Rockets were -4.5. They won by 3. Had I waited, that would have been an ATS loss instead of a win. Happen to think this spread will rise, too, due to very heavy early action on the Pacers. I also took Indiana at -2 in Charlotte on Wednesday and the Pacers won 116-106. Hard to see why there won't be a similar result here. Indiana has the East's best road record at 5-2, while the Hornets have dropped their past three at home. The Pacers are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games as road favorites.
