Undoubtedly one of the pitching mismatches of the season on paper between Colorado's Kyle Freeland (0-6, 8.28 ERA away) and Milwaukee's Jacob Misiorowski, the NL Cy Young favorite and MLB ERA/strikeout leader. I suppose I have a minor concern that the Brewers are being really cautious of late with their young star, and he pitched only four innings last time out. But he's also on extra rest so I'd think he goes at least five today short of wildness or shockingly getting rocked. I doubt he goes much longer than five, though, so better have the lead then.

Jacob Misiorowski is coming off a short outing where it was thought to be Milwaukee limiting his innings, but manager Pat Murphy said after the game that Miz was "out of sorts with his delivery, his velocity fell and he leaned on his breaking stuff." That makes it seem like an isolated decision, and I would not be surprised to see him be dominant again and have a big game for strikeouts. This is about as severe of a starting pitcher mismatch as you will see if Miz is healthy, and the Brewers offense should be able to score against Kyle Freeland, who's allowed 4+ runs in five of his last seven starts. Milwaukee has a significant bullpen edge to hold down the win too.
