Framber Valdez has had a rough time of it for the Tigers, but I think today his team has his back as they’ve won four in a row and seven of their last eight. Detroit has lost nine of Valdez’s last 11 starts, but this is the A’s, who have been on a downward spiral and might not have Nick Kurtz in the lineup today. The over looks very good to pair with the Tigers on the side, considering Jack Perkins is starting for the A's and, in his last outing against Miami, he gave up seven runs and four walks in 3.2 innings. The A's have lost their last five games and 13 other last 16. Tigers to win.
