Caesar’s. Shane McClanahan continues to operate on a very tight leash this season. Pitching for the first time in two years, the Rays lefty has only pitched into the sixth inning twice in nine starts, as the Rays monitor his workload. The two outings in which he work in the sixth, he started the inning with 55 and 62 pitches. That type of efficiency should be tough to come by tonight against the Orioles who see the second most pitches per plate appearance (3.99). McClanahan just faced the Orioles at home in his last start and allowed four runs on six hits in five innings. Now in Baltimore, I just don’t see the Rays pushing their ace this early in the season.
