The Toronto Blue Jays had a recent low point in last week’s road series against the Tampa Bay Rays. They were swept and had just four runs in three games. Expect the bats to be ready to deliver today, starting off with lead off hitter George Springer. Springer went 0 for 8 in the two games he played last week against Tampa Bay, but is coming off a day off and his first multi hit game in the month of May. Take Springer’s combination line/total bases over.

We've got a nice pitching matchup today with Kevin Gausman of the Blue Jays facing Drew Rasmussen of the Rays. They just met six days ago in Tampa Bay, and the Rays won 4-3, but the game went over the total of 6.5. Today the total is 7, and it's still an under play. The Rays have gone under in 12 of their last 14 games. Gausman has gone over the total of his last five starts, but I still think this one stays under as well. Just the under.

The Rays have won 14 of 16, and that’s because the pitching has been extraordinary – just 0-1 runs allowed in nine of those games, and two runs in four others. Drew Rasmussen had a quality start in a 4-3 win over these Blue Jays last time out. The Rays’ bullpen has allowed two runs the last two weeks. I like Kevin Gausman and he’s especially tough in Toronto, but I also like plus odds on a Rays team shutting everyone down.
