The Mets are one of the better contact teams in baseball and have struck out 12 times in two games against Jesus Luzardo this season. I like them to make better contact now seeing him a third time. And while I'm not predicting one, necessarily, Luzardo is prone to the occasional meltdown.

The drama is with the Mets as they seem intent on blowing the last NL wild card, their current five-game skid allowing the Giants, Reds, D-backs, and even Cards to maintain real hope of collaring them and reaching the playoffs. Jesus Luzardo (1.42 ERA last two starts) has steadied on the mound lately for the Phils, who have pounded out 20 runs across the last two nights in romps past the Mets. DraftKings. David Peterson has remained under this line in 17 of 27 starts this season, including 10 of his last 14 outings. The southpaw has struggled of late, pitching to a 6.68 ERA since the beginning of August. He’ll face a hot Phillies lineup that he has plenty of history against - and sans Kyle Schwarber, Peterson’s strikeout numbers have waned against Philly.
