It's too bad the Twins haven't been able to play the Angels more often; four games, four wins so far for Minnesota vs. the Halos, including last night's 12-3 beatdown in Anaheim. The Angels, who seem strangely unmotivated by sub-.500 opposition, have been outscored a whopping 33-8 across those four losses and with a late-season spate of injuries that for the moment has sidelined Jo Adell, Nolan Schanuel, and Logan O'Hoppe. The Halos have also lost in five of the last seven starts made by Kyle Hendricks, whose recent form has been subpar (5.05 ERA since August). Meanwhile, the Twins' Zebby Matthews is off of two solid efforts, with a 2.25 ERA and 1.00 WHIP his last two starts. Play Twins on the Run Line.

This evening look for a continuation of runs at the plate between the Minnesota Twins and LA Angels, that Monday had fifteen combined runs. On the season the Twins are undefeated against the Angels with a 4-0 record, and more importantly have scored over five runs in all matchups. This includes Kyle Hendricks shortest and worst start of the season in terms of runs allowed. On April 25th, Hendricks gave up seven runs in just three innings of duty. Take the over.
