After a couple of lackluster weeks, the Mets might be back with three wins in a row by an 18-5 total score. Last night was an 8-1 romp in D.C., and tonight is the next chance for Kodai Senga, who might be rounding back into form after a serviceable 5 2/3 IP last Thursday vs. the Braves. Note that prior to going on the injured list in June, Senga had a 1.47 ERA for the season The Nats' bullpen presents a big target for Mets hitters, battered in the last two games. More trouble could await tonight as Brad Lord is going to have to hand off this game to his relievers by the sixth inning or so. Play Mets on the Run Line.

Washington rookie Brad Lord began the year in the bullpen but has transitioned nicely to the rotation. Lord has gone six IP in back-to-back starts and topped this in three of his past four. He got up to a career-high 92 pitches last time out, and certainly 92 pitches normally would get us through five innings here. Not the greatest hitting conditions today in D.C.
