Just at the right time for the Royals, the Chisox have shown up in KC and do what they usually do at Kauffman Stadium...lose. It's now 13 losses in a row for the Pale Hose in KC, the last two earlier this weekend allowing the Royals to climb above .500 for the first time in over two months. It's also now losses in 10 of 12 for the Hose, whose offense has stalled, scoring just three times across the past three games. Davis Martin's recent efforts on the hill aren't encouraging, either, with a 7.20 ERA in two August starts. Meanwhile, deadline add Ryan Bergert has been serviceable enough in his two KC starts since arriving from the Padres. Play Royals on Run Line

Baseball is so crazy. Some days, it's basically cricket where I have no clue what is happening. Then other days ... it all simply clicks into place. We seem to be on a "logic actually works" roll right now. Not rocket science, taking motivated home teams vs. bad road teams. There is absolutely no reason to not play the Royals a third straight game to sweep this series. Chicago's Davis Martin is 1-7 with a 5.14 ERA away.
