I am personally playing -1 at -155 fairly big (think I have made my point clear on -1.5) as I can't imagine the Mets lose to Carlos Carrasco (6.18 ERA). Push due to the bullpen? Fine. He may well be the worst pitcher in the majors not wearing a Rockies uniform. But being -1 not offered on here ... this is the choice. Solid "anchor" potentially. I believe last night's Mets win was the turnaround they needed. Tonight's starter David Peterson has a 2.33 home ERA. I definitely thought about F5 at -149.
That was an emphatic way for the Mets to snap out of their 8-game skid in a 13-5 win (six homers!) over the Braves last night. If the bats really have awakened, it's more trouble for Atlanta tonight. Especially as recently-added Carlos Carrasco has struggled badly in his two starts for the Braves, posting a 6.94 ERA and saved only by robust run support provided by the offense. Still, Atlanta's bats are not to be trusted this season, and David Peterson's performances since the start of July (including a 1.05 ERA last month) have been good enough to trust the Mets making it two in a row, especially with the Braves' bullpen shelled on Tuesday. Play Mets on the Run Line.
