The Milwaukee Brewers as a team continue to be potent at the plate. In yesterday’s win they scored sixteen runs on twenty five hits. Five players had three or more hits including Andrew Vaughn. With three home runs in his last four games, Vaughn is rightfully becoming a hot commodity in the prop market. Take his total bases over once again today against the Nationals.

Christian Yelich has seen the ball well against Jake Irvin, going 4-for-9 with two doubles and two walks. He's hit 18 of his 20 home runs this season against right-handed pitchers. Irvin has allowed 23 home runs this season and has struggled against left-handed bats. We set Yelich's line at +344 to homer.

Not our preferred position, to be laying a minus price when laying the extra run, but will go ahead and take our chances on Saturday with the red-hot Brewers. It's the same Milwaukee that scored 16 runs in D. C. last night, and we doubt the recently-activated Brandon Woodruff needs that much help, considering his 2.01 ERA in four July starts, all Brew Crew wins. Meanwhile, it's not so much Jake Irvin (4.55 ERA) on the mound that worries Miguel Cairo, it's Washington's bullpen that was battered again last night and figures to get extended work on Saturday.
