The Tigers have lost eight of their last nine meetings with the Phillies, but the Phillies come in losing three of their last four, and the Tigers have won their last four. The streak was started by today's starter, Jack Flaherty, who pitched six shutout innings against the Blue Jays. It was his best outing since June 8th when he beat the Cubs 4-0. Ranger Suarez is one of the best pitchers in the National League, but the Phillies have lost two of his last three starts, with him allowing 10 runs total. I think the Tigers found their mojo again and will hit the Phillies. Tigers to win.

The Tigers had a great weekday series against the D-backs, but the D-backs were selling and falling apart. I'm still not convinced the Tigers are fixed. Starter Jack Flaherty has a 6.28 road ERA, too, so the Phillies can get to him. Ranger Suarez on the mound for the Phillies inspires confidence for me, too. I think it's a Phillies blowout.
