Woodruff has struck out 18 against zero walks in his first two starts back from shoulder surgery, but he's only worked up to 81 pitches and didn't get through the fifth inning last time. I think there's backslide potential here, as coming back from shoulder surgery is very tricky and things have just gone too well thus far.

George Kirby has a career high 4.50 ERA this season and has been shaky on the mound. He gets a tough matchup against a Brewers lineup that has been hitting much better recently, in addition to possessing the 2nd lowest K Rate at just 17.1% over the last 30 days. I’d play this down to (-165).

It's not often getting a plus price on a team riding a ten-game win streak. So it goes tonight with the Brewers, who roll into their long-ago Seattle hometown (way back in 1969!) having won ten straight after sweeping the Dodgers on the weekend out of the All-Star break. Tonight will be the third start by Brandon Woodruff since Milwaukee reactivated him earlier this month, and while he's been touched by three homers, he's also struck out 18 and walked 0 in 10 1/3 IP. Note that Seattle's George Kirby needed 15 runs of support to help overcome his own subpar effort (four runs, five hits and three walks in just 5 IP) in his last start vs. the Tigers.
