The Twins have the seventh highest strikeout rate against lefties (24.8% K% - 27.2% on the road). The Twins have consistently remained in the top ten of called plus swinging strike rate - a recipe against Skubal, who owns the highest zone rate of all qualified pitchers.

He worked six innings in his last start but we faded the 20.5 outs line simply because of the tough weather situation he was in. If not for a rough first and second inning though, he would have made it into the 7th inning, so avoiding the big inning will be key. Against a Twins team that hasn't seen him since July of last year, and hasn't produced all that much against some subpar lefties recently, I have value on the price for Skubal to work into the 7th inning.

The Twins are 27-43 other than their 13-game winning streak which looks more and more fluky as the season progresses. The Tigers are the best team in the AL and sending a Cy Young winner to the hill. The Tigers win this one by multiple runs.

The Twins haven't seen him this year and carry a high strikeout rate against lefties while Skubal averages 8.2 strikeouts per start in his last 15. He'll get to eight.
