With eight right handed batters in the Astros lineup, Ryan can play to his strengths, as he possesses a swinging strike rate above 14% against righties, with a near 30% whiff rate, striking out 35% of batters. His underlying metrics looked similar in this split last year and I'm going to bet he leans more into that sweeper in two strike counts, as the Astros hitters have struck out at a higher rate against breaking pitches as opposed to fastballs.
