Prior to working 6 2/3 innings of one-run work last Thursday vs. the Nats in D.C., Povich had been hit hard, especially by the Reds in his previous start when allowing three homers and seven runs in just 3 1/3 IP in a loss to the Reds on April 18. Tonight he faces a Yanks offense that blasted Birds pitching for 15 runs last night, while Carlos Carrasco is off of his best effort, five shutout innings vs. the Blue Jays last Friday. The NYY have an MLB best 1.026 OPS on the road vs lefties. BAL has MLB best .911 OPS at home vs righties. Cade Povich is highly erratic and tends to give up the long ball when his command dips (it dips a lot). It is warm and toasty in Baltimore and ball will carry. I don't buy anything about Carlos Carrasco this season and both bullpens have an underbelly. Look out for Aaron Judge to go off with O's bringing their RF fence in again.
