Tristan Beck will get the start today for Blake Snell and the San Francisco Giants. As a team look for the Giants to respond off of yesterday’s series opening loss to St. Louis. They had opportunities to extend a 3-2 lead with runners on and no outs but generated nothing. St. Louis remains undefeated on the season against San Francisco. Take the Giants to play with some pride and get their first win of the season against St. Louis.

We suppose we could do much worse than go with the Giants when Blake Snell is on the mound. All Snell has done in September is spin a 1.00 ERA in four wins for San Francisco, and now seven straight wins for the Giants in games started by Snell. Across his last eight starts, he's spun a 1.31 ERA. As our last chance to use Snell this season, we don't want to miss the opportunity, though noting Andre Pallante is pitching capably for the Cards (1 run and 5 hits across 14 IP in last two starts).
