The best value in the bigs the past week has been to look "under" in games involving the Reds, who have stopped scoring runs. Six straight "unders" in Cincy games, with the Reds scoring nine runs across that span of six games; across the past eight Cincy games, a grand total of only 33 combined runs have been scored. Doing any business vs. the Twins' big Bailey Ober tonight looks challenging, especially if Ober is as sharp as his past two starts. Since getting battered by Atlanta on August 26, Ober has dominated Toronto and KC, allowing just one run and two hits (two hits!) across 13 IP, striking out 15 and walking just 3 in the process. Bailey Ober cashes at home. Twins are 6-1 in his last 7 home starts dating back to June; 5 of those are by 2+ runs. Ober has allowed 2 ER or less in 6 of those starts. Twins bats started getting going this week. Reds not getting much length out of young starter Julian Aguiar and Reds scuffling along playing out the string. Twins fans should be up for this big series.
