Stop me if you've heard this one before but the Yankees have the worst record in MLB sine mid June, and they entered play Wednesday still with lagging starting pitching, pen, and a lineup devoid of any depth or impact beyond the two usual suspects. Alex Verdugo leading off aint changing much. Nestor Cortes got knocked around in previous start at TB (4 ER in 5 1/3) and had a 4.44 ERA lifetime there. NYY just 13-17 vs AL East entering Wed. TB 15-8 vs LHP. We like Shane Baz and think he has ace stuff. Rays are better team right now. We are getting strong value here.
