This feels at least a half run high, although the winds are a bit tricky to read right now at GABP. The Reds have been really good to us on Unders of late and Nick Lodolo is 4-1 with a 3.21 ERA at home. The Sox are using an opener and sitting a couple of regulars against the lefty Lodolo. Boston is 9-13 vs. southpaws.

This "total" is higher than we expected for the rubber match of the renewal of the great 1975 World Series, especially after a pair of well-pitched games and a couple of "unders" earlier this weekend. For the Reds, that's been a recurring theme as their pitching has bene generally solid in a current 11-2 run, and Sunday starter Nick Lodol has been especially good since being activated in late May, posting a 2.16 ERA in four June starts. Meanwhile, interesting twist for the Bosox, as reliever Zack Kelly (1.75 in 19 appearances) got the win out of the bullpen last Sunday, and starts today as the opener with Alex Cora making this a bullpen game Sunday afternoon.
