Erick Fedde is shoving, especially at home. And he provides length while the O's are yo-yoing Albert Suarez back to the rotation after getting a lot of use as a leverage reliever. Pale Hose stink but are 4-1 at home when Fedder starts. He's 23rd among all starters with a 3.24 xFIP at home, he can provide length and he strong HR and hard-hit rates. O's offense held to 4 or less with regularity and attack is HR-dependent. League batting just .205 vs Fedde at home. O's pen is depleted and keep putting more arms on the IL. Very lucky not to have lost first 2 games of this series already.
In consecutive games the Chicago White Sox have flirted with a comeback against Baltimore. Thursday, they had a big ninth inning rally fall short, and yesterday they came back to tie from a four run deficit. Today, the White Sox will get to see pitcher Albert Suarez who has mainly worked out of the bullpen this month, and only has a few starts under his belt. Take the White Sox as the big home underdog.

The Orioles rotation took a massive hit Friday, with John Means and Dean Kremer both hitting the IL. The latter will force Albert Suarez back into the rotation today, and while he was an effective starter early in the season, he's been limited to one-inning outings for nearly two weeks as the team wasn't preparing him for a transition back into starting. Either the priority today will be pitching to contact against an awful White Sox lineup to allow Suarez to eat up innings, or getting him out of there after only a few innings. Either scenario makes hitting this Over tough.
Though not as helpless as in April, the Chisox are indeed skidding again, losing seven of eight, with the staff beginning to crack after a brief recovery a few weeks ago. Erick Fedde was one of those in the rotation who has impressed but is off of a bumpy outing (5 runs and 7 hits in 6 IP) on Monday vs. the Blue Jays in a 9-3 loss. Meanwhile Brandon Hyde will use this as a bullpen game for the O's, though Albert Suarez has fared capably in his role of an opener, and the Birds offense has reawakened, scoring 14 runs in wins across the past two nights to recover from the sweep by St Louis.
