Grayson Rodriguez made a spectacular return from a brief stay on the injury list when spinning six innings of one-hit, no-run ball at the Mariners last Saturday, while the Chisox are again struggling at the plate, scoring just 15 runs across their last six games, losing five of those. The O's hadn't lost in a three-game sweep in years, but it just happened. They'll bounce back strong against one of baseball's worst teams. The White Sox had been playing decent ball, but they're back, having lost five of six. The Grayson Rodriguez (BAL) vs. Mike Clevinger (CHW) pitching matchup favors the Orioles and the offense is ready to explode after some down games and bad batted-ball luck lately. An Orioles' blowout is the most likely outcome here, so let's play the run line (-1.5, -137) for better odds.

The Orioles have scored 4 runs or less in 15 of their last 23 games and 3 runs or less in 13 of them (93 total runs). They have 2nd fewest walks in MLB, their pen is strained right now by trying to go to a 6 man rotation and they tend to baby today's starter, who also just came back from the IL. The defense has sagged lately and their regular-season run of not getting swept is over, too.
