Bryce Miller is coming off a gem in Milwaukee, while Jordan Wicks has failed to complete five innings in each of his two starts. But he's piled up Ks in those outings and has 13 punchouts in 8.2 innings pitched this season, a big departure from last year's 6.2 K/9 rate in seven MLB starts. But he was much more of a strikeout pitcher in the minors and I'd expect to settle north of a K per inning this year. This is a great matchup for Ks as the Mariners strike out at the highest rate in the majors (10.61 per game), so he could get to 6 Ks even if he only manages five innings pitched, though he's favored to record over 15.5 outs.
