I like the Over 9 tonight, where we maintain a condition of a push in a 5-4 or 6-3 game. The hitting conditions are optimal, with temperatures in the upper 80s and extremely high humidity due to storms in the area. Overall, this results in an air density index in the mid 50s (anything below 57 is considerably strong and should result in a total of 10 runs in this ballpark). Max Fried has been strong, but his wOBA allowed is almost 100 points higher at home, which is much closer to his baseline that we should anticipate moving forward. I actually favor this matchup for the Yankees, who remain a top 10 offense against left-handed pitching. I'm on the Over 9.
